(Guyana Guardian) – A 59-year-old man who seems to have a penchant for stealing and hoarding women’s panties, might have remained a free man, if he had taken into account that Guyanese women definitely do not find any joy in men stealing their undies.

But that lesson was way too late for the pervert, as he is now facing a possible 40-year jail sentence, after a trial judge in the US State of Florida has found him guilty on multiple counts of larceny, among other offenses.

Isitro Lee Sanches, better known as Santa Claus by people in his community, and who definitely looks like the real Santa Claus, was thought to be a normal jolly fellow over the years,

But when women in the community realized that their underwear was mysteriously disappearing, and then sometimes reappearing without much logic, they never thought for one moment, that the same jolly-going Santa Claus was stealing their undies.

According to the Miami Herald, and the Florida Morning Post, Sanches’ panty stealing, and hoarding penchant came to an abrupt end after he tried to play a sinister steal-and -return panty game with his last victim, and maybe the wrong victim.

Court records identified the last victim as a migrant Guyanese woman in her late 20’s, who told the court that she was definitely not up for any panty stealing and return fetish.

The publication explained that prior to Sanches’ sentencing last week (4 May 2018), the Bay County Sheriff’s Office had said in a release back then (see it here) that they had responded to a residence on Kimbrel Avenue on January 17, 2017, in reference to a stalking complaint.

The victim complained of finding ladies underwear left in her unlocked vehicle on January 14, 2017, and then on January 17, she found ladies underwear left on the railing on the front porch of her home.

In both incidents, handwritten notes to the victim were left with the underwear.

The notes were written by someone who had some knowledge of the victim and expressed a desire to see the victim wearing the underwear.

On March 3, 2017, the victim’s home was burglarized and the victim found a handwritten note inside the residence, while some of her underwear that were stolen was found on her porch.

The Sheriff’s county office only got a crack on the case until April 13, 2017, when the boyfriend of the victim was at her residence while she was left for work with her.

After some time, the boyfriend heard someone entered the residence and immediately confronted a male neighbor of the victim who was in the kitchen of the home.

The intruder however quickly fled the scene into the woods, but a BCSO deputy was able to locate and arrest the suspect, who was identified as Isitro Lee Sanches.

A subsequent search of the man’s home revealed that he had more than 90 pounds of panties of various shapes and sizes.

He could not say what he was doing with all of the undies, or where he got them from.
