Guyanese students and all others from across the region who have written the CSEC exams this year will certainly get to know how well they did, within the next 24hrs or so from now.

This is because the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has confirmed that the regional education-testing body will be releasing the 2018 CSEC exam results tomorrow (Friday 10 August).

To facilitate the announcement, a special ceremony  is scheduled to be held at the St. George’s University campus in Grenada,  which will see the attendance of several officials of the Caribbean Examinations Council, including its Registrar, Glenroy Cumberbatch

At that ceremony, the results are expected to be revealed by Mr Alton McPherson, who is the Senior Manager (Ag) of the Examinations Development and Production Division at the CXC, while Grenada’s Minister of Education Emmalin Pierre, will deliver the feature address.

Regional Education ministers are also expected to be in possession of the results at about the same time tomorrow, and should also be able to make some disclosures regarding their respective country’s performance.

But even though the results will be revealed tomorrow, students may not be able to personally access their 2018 results from the CXC website until around Monday evening.

The Guyana Guardian has a Correspondent on the ground in Grenada, and will try to provide a live feed of the CSEC results announcement tomorrow via its Facebook page HERE: (if permitted by the event co-ordinators)
