Christmas is a time full of magic and reunions, a perfect moment to enjoy family, especially if you can make the most of quality time. Creating new memories together and making sure both young and old have a good time is the best gift for the holidays.
A great family option is to bet on creativity. Curious minds, regardless of their age, have in the immersive rooms designed by IKONO a original, fun, and unexpectedly festive Christmas plan.
IKONO, quality time with family
Fernando Pastor, one of its founders, sums it up: “IKONO is a space where worries disappear, giving way to experiences that invite you to let go, explore, and let out the inner child that everyone carries inside.” It's no wonder that their experiences have become one of the top plans for those seeking the best leisure activities. Enjoying art in multisensory spaces where a truly immersive experience is paramount is trendy.

In these rooms, people can disconnect, laugh, have a great day with family, transport themselves to new worlds, and live an authentic adventure. Immersing themselves in a journey that takes them to different places, all family members can leave behind the hustle and bustle of the big city at Christmas. It's an original idea to leave stress behind and reconnect, spending quality time with loved ones.
To be a child again
The experiences that IKONO presents this Christmas in Barcelona and Madrid are going viral and have already achieved great success with the public. Visitors will not only enjoy art but will also be part of it, embarking on a unique and different journey unlike any other. In the Catalan capital, IKONO, located within CC Arenas, has created over 10 unique, fun, and artistic spaces that will make anyone the protagonist of their experience. One standout feature is the Ball Pit room, where visitors can relive their childhood by playing in a spectacular ball pit.
Couple in one of the rooms of the experience
In Madrid, this immersive experience offers an exciting variety of 12 immersive rooms where you can share unique memories with your family. One of the most fun is the Camouflage room, where visitors can dress up like the wall decorations and have a great time taking photos to capture this special moment together. Plus, taking time for oneself and loved ones helps to face, among other things, the last days of work before holidays, the (sometimes) awkward company dinners, and, why not, shopping for gifts for the whole family.
Immersive (and shared) experiences
Sharing. This is one of the goals that David Troya and Fernando Pastor set for themselves when, in 2019, despite the challenges of the pandemic, they dove into the world of entrepreneurship with this project full of art, culture, and fun. In good company. Previously, in 2018, David traveled to Japan with his family. There, he fully embraced the experience in the bamboo forest of Arashiyama. Back in Spain, together with Fernando, they got down to work: there were no creative options for immersive entertainment in Europe.
An experience full of colors and sensations
One of the added values in all the exhibitions that have been proposed in these years is that people participate fully... And do so with their own. In IKONO, they don't seek mere observers, but rather the audience to enjoy a real immersive experience that goes beyond taking selfies. Each person will have their own feelings and interpretations, so each experience will be different from the others.
There is always a way
The immersive spaces of IKONO are trendy, or as they say nowadays, they go viral wherever they land. In Spain, they can be enjoyed in Barcelona or Madrid, but currently, the creative and wild journey offered by the Spanish company is also a reality in other European cities such as Berlin, Vienna, Budapest, Rome, or Copenhagen.
To make this eclectic and imaginative display possible, more than 200 professionals work daily designing unique immersive installations and selecting the best artists of the moment. Their challenge? To contribute to a more creative and innovative world that teaches everyone that there is always a way forward.
