December nights in Barcelona transform into the perfect setting to discover the hidden corners of the city. Those that remain in the shadows during the day and only reveal their splendor under the nighttime light. The city combines its cosmopolitan essence with a touch of nocturnal mysticism and invites those who dare to defy the cold (properly bundled up) to uncover its charm under the starlight and the glow of its festive illuminations.
Magic and mystery
The Casa Batlló becomes a portal to the past, while in the Wax Museum the ghosts seem to come to life
Until January 6th, at sunset, Casa Batlló becomes a portal to the past. The show A Winter Night invites visitors to explore every corner of this UNESCO World Heritage site as if they were immersed in the past century. The experience offers two stories based on real events, narrated by characters who lived or grew up in the house: Fermina, the faithful servant who took care of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the Batlló family, and Juan Carlos Marimón, great-grandson of the Batlló family, whose story comes to life with the voice of Mario Gas, in Spanish and Catalan. The walls of Gaudí's work come to life and move to the rhythm of a soundtrack composed by Jordi Longán, with the special collaboration of Sheila Blanco in a song dedicated to Fermina. This is complemented by the 360° rooms and augmented reality effects, adding a touch of magic. The experience begins every night from 6:30 pm.

One winter night, Casa Batlló
Once a month, at the Barcelona Wax Museum, the ghosts come to life and become guides for visitors, leading them through a night full of mystery and paranormal phenomena. Far from being a haunted house, this interactive experience offers a guided tour that blends real-life stories with an atmosphere of intrigue and suspense. In the dim light, visitors will discover characters and scenes from the museum from a completely new perspective. The next encounter with the unexplainable will be on December 21st at 8:30 p.m.
What could surpass the beauty of La Pedrera under the bright sun? Discovering it at night. This iconic monument offers a unique nighttime experience: a visual show with projections, soft lights that caress the walls, and a soundtrack that highlights every detail of its architecture. The evening culminates with a glass of cava and sweets, creating an immersive experience in one of Barcelona's most emblematic buildings. Visits are available every day starting at 7:00 p.m.

La Pedrera at night

The Observatori Fabra in Barcelona, one of the oldest active observatories in the world, offers a unique and unforgettable experience for those who wish to explore its facilities at night. The visits include direct observations of celestial bodies such as the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars, depending on the season, using the impressive 1904 refracting telescope, which is still in operation after over a century. Throughout the tour, expert guides share insights into the observatory's history and elaborate on its research in astronomy, meteorology, and seismology. An experience that bridges the past and present of science, priced at 30 euros for adults and 14 euros for children.
