Police still trying to identify body from fatal West Bank Demerara accident

After exhausting its initial efforts to identify the body of an accident victim, the Guyana Police Force is turning to the public to aid them in their investigations.

According to a brief missive that was dispatched to the press earlier today, the police established that the man had succumbed to injuries that he had sustained from an accident on the 1 February, 2017 at the Canal Number One road, West Bank of Demerara.

The body is currently lodged at West Demerara Regional Hospital Mortuary.

The police is hoping that a member of the public might be able to recognized some element of the man’s corpse, and thus leading to its identification.
