Stage falls by artists should already have a special section. Lately, several singers have suffered mishaps while performing. And since everyone now has a mobile phone to record, what used to be known only by those attending the concert is now turned into a video that circulates on social media. Not long ago, it was Mario Vaquerizo who suffered a dangerous fall from the stage that caused him serious injuries. The latest to join this list has been Laura Pausini.
The Italian singer was enjoying one of her concerts on her tour, specifically in Milan, when she suffered a dramatic mishap. Laura, 50 years old, was in the middle of her performance when suddenly she got tangled up in the billowy dress she was wearing and fell down the stairs of the stage. A shocking fall that left the audience breathless for a few seconds. Everyone was reassured when the artist recovered and was able to stand up. Fortunately, despite rolling down the stairs, the fall did not have major consequences. The dancers quickly came to help Pausini, who, although she lost her composure, never stopped singing and continued to intone the verses of her song Zero as if nothing had happened.
Hours after the concert, the singer of La soledad wanted to reassure her followers and thank them for their expressions of affection. Laura explained that it was all just a scare. “Thank you all for the messages of concern after my fall on stage. But I'm fine, nothing happened to me, so much so that last night I did a new concert singing, dancing, and jumping. Furthermore, the tour continues in Europe now. I slipped, but nothing happened,” she said.
On December 5th and 7th, Laura Pausini will arrive in Spain to offer two concerts in Malaga and Pamplona, respectively, as part of her World Winter Tour 2024. Last October, Laura Pausini released her new studio album, titled Parallel Souls, which marks her comeback after five years and celebrates her 30-year career in music. Since her debut in 1993, the artist has sold millions of records, becoming one of the most recognized and admired voices worldwide.
