The Gastronomic Balcony is one of the main novelties of the new Port Olímpic. A space where you can enjoy the most varied range of high-quality Barcelona cuisine for all occasions and budgets.
The restaurants and shops that make up this new gastronomic space in Barcelona have unique identities and culinary proposals, but together they create a promenade where you can enjoy the finest cuisine with wonderful and unprecedented views of the Mediterranean. Various squares and viewpoints, equipped with stairs and elevators, enhance the dialogue between the port interior and the coastline, making strolling easier. The restaurants located on the upper level include:

Kresala
The new Basque fish grill at Port Olímpic merges fire and sea in a gastronomic experience that pays homage to the Basque fishing tradition. Led by Gregorio Tolosa, master of the grill at the renowned Bidea 2 in Navarra, and the brothers Mikel and Iñaki López de Viñaspre from Grupo Sagardi, this restaurant offers a unique proposal with fresh products from the Cantabrian Sea and the Mediterranean, cooked on a five-meter Josper grill designed specifically for Kresala.

El Tribut
A space dedicated to honoring the figure of Antoni Gaudí. Seeks to create an innovative experience combining gastronomy, nature, and art. The gastronomic offer focuses on local products and organic ingredients. Dishes such as grilled razor clams with seaweed chimichurri or 'Barceloneta-style macaroni' with aged beef and Iberian secret combine tradition and innovation with the aim of creating an authentic, tasty, and healthy culinary experience.

ELDELMAR - Hermanos Torres
Experts in gastronomy from different countries and regions, the Torres Brothers place special emphasis on products from the Mediterranean coast. They use local and native products, with a deep respect for tradition, but reinterpreted from a contemporary and constantly evolving perspective.

El Cangrejo Loco
Open for over 30 years, just when Port Olímpic was inaugurated during the Barcelona Olympics, to offer traditional seafood cuisine. Now it returns to Port Olímpic without losing its original spirit or its menu based on crabs, seafood, fish, and rice.
At the lower level, restaurants and food stores are characterized by light and transparency, which facilitate their communication with the surroundings.

Superlocal
Your gastronomic proposal combines proximity, sustainability, and sophistication, with a menu based on local products and dishes designed for sharing.

Casa Carmen
It is based on offering a quality service at a fair price, with daily changing menus and innovative menus designed to satisfy a broad audience with Mediterranean food and personalized service.
A new space, which will open its doors in early 2025, is Nuara. Its name is inspired by the word “knot”, symbolizing the connection between the sea, gastronomy, and people. Its gastronomic proposal focuses on Mediterranean and market cuisine, where the product will be the main protagonist.
Gourmet shops, the complement to the culinary offer.
Spaces that are known for complementing their dining options with a take-out offer.

Las Muns
The concept was born in 2011, with the idea of deconstructing the empanada and rebuilding it with innovative ideas in line with current gastronomic trends.

Faborit
They are defined as a Fresh Coffee House. Speciality coffees, hot chocolate, fresh juices, and a selection of healthy food options.

Dolce Mare
Specialized shop in the artisanal production of ice cream made from high-quality ingredients. They also make crepes.
At the Gastronomic Balcony, citizens will discover a new dining model that focuses on quality, diversity, and complementary proposals with the aim of reaching a broad and diverse audience. The new restaurants also emphasize design, with innovative interior design proposals aimed at coexisting with the surroundings and enhancing the relationship between the port and the sea.
With its renewed gastronomic offer and Christmas activities for the whole family, Port Olímpic becomes the perfect destination for these holidays
The magic of Christmas arrives at Port Olímpic
From December 5th to January 5th
This year, as a great novelty, the Port Olímpic is decorated with large Christmas lights, creating a unique atmosphere for this time of year. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy an electric train that travels through this revamped space in a special way.

The Port Olímpic is lit up with lights and special activities
At Moll de Mestral, a wide range of free activities for all ages is offered, organized by La Mar d'Activitats. Daily workshops include drawing, painting, storytelling, face painting, and construction games, among other activities. Activities related to the sea are also scheduled in collaboration with the Municipal Sailing Center, the Catalan Sailing Federation, and the Club Patí Vela Barcelona. Additionally, educational activities promoted by the Barcelona Zoo and the Institute of Marine Sciences will be held.
The Port Olímpic, the point where the Three Wise Men of Poblenou arrive
During these holidays, the little ones will also be able to write their letters to the Three Wise Men and deliver them to a royal page who will be installed at the Moll de Mestral. Letters can be delivered on weekends in December and every day from December 26th to January 5th. That afternoon, Port Olímpic will experience a magical moment: the arrival of the Three Wise Men from the Poblenou neighborhood, aboard a sailboat.
Bright decoration and the 100% electric Christmas train
The Port Olímpic will be illuminated every night with large luminous Christmas figures, up to four meters high and LED technology.
The Port Olímpic reaffirms its role as a new city space with this programming. Additionally, it has just closed an agreement with the Fundación MAPFRE and the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) to incorporate photography and performing arts into its program. As a result of this partnership, visitors can now enjoy Retrats, a free outdoor exhibition that showcases the richness of 20th-century photographic portraiture. Furthermore, thanks to this alliance, the Port Olímpic will host music and dance performances in collaboration with the Liceu Conservatory and the Theatre Institute.
This Christmas setting will be completed by a 100% electric Christmas train that, starting on December 23rd, will travel through Port Olímpic making stops at Moll de Mestral, Moll de Gregal, and Dic de Recer, where you can enjoy unbeatable views of Barcelona.
