The singer from Almería, David Bisbal, offered a free concert last Thursday from the balcony of the Royal Post Office, in front of thousands of people from Madrid and tourists who gathered in Puerta del Sol.

The Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, took charge of introducing Bisbal to the attendees, shouting “How are the machines?” A phrase with which the artist greeted some fans and which went viral.

Bisbal has performed his Christmas carol Todo es posible en Navidad as part of the light show projected daily by the regional government on the facade, as part of the activities of 'Christmas in Sol', which has three shows each afternoon.

Thousands of people have crowded Puerta del Sol to dance and listen to the artist, whom many of them may have stumbled upon unexpectedly while passing through the city center to enjoy the Christmas lights or do some holiday shopping.

Díaz Ayuso danced on a balcony adjacent to the rhythm of Bisbal's songs, who sang a capella the Christmas carols Los peces en el río and Mi burrito sabanero after repeated requests from the attendees shouting “another”.

Bisbal stated that it was “an honor, a privilege” to be in Puerta del Sol with all the visitors and Madrid locals, and thanked Díaz Ayuso and the Community of Madrid for “the opportunity”.

“I will not forget this moment for the rest of my life,” he said, and he trusts that next year they can “do something even more special here, although nothing will be more special than this in my heart,” he stated.
