Salma Hayek walked the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes wearing a burgundy sequined dress and 300 carats of emeralds around her neck. The plunging neckline dress hugged her waist to display her curves and flared out into a spectacular train. However, what caught the most attention was her makeup and hairstyle, as the 58-year-old actress from Eternals surprised with a perfectly messy half-up hairdo that revealed her gray hair.

Dressed in Gucci and wearing a necklace, earrings, and ring from Schwartz Jewelry, the Mexican actress, who was not nominated for any awards on this occasion, walked the red carpet, leaving behind a heartwarming anecdote with Selena Gomez. In a gesture full of affection, Hayek handed her colleague the microphone so that she could be interviewed. “I want Selena to have her moment,” expressed the Mexican actress before hugging and kissing Gomez, who started to cry, clearly showing their sisterhood, perhaps because they both share Mexican roots.

Hayek recently starred in Without Blood, a dramatic war film released in September 2024. Based on the book of the same name by Alessandro Baricco, the movie was directed by Hayek's friend and fellow actress, Angelina Jolie. It tells an unforgettable fable set in the aftermath of an unidentified conflict and explores universal truths about war, trauma, memory, and healing, according to a synopsis by the production company Fremantle.

Hayek won a Golden Globe in 2007 as an executive producer of the series Ugly Betty, in which she also appeared, and which won the award for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. The actress was also nominated for another award at this ceremony in 2003 for her work in Frida.
